Alpha Capital GroupHigh impact·DrawdownMax Risk Rule: a 1-3 % floating loss on a SINGLE asset instantly closes the Qualified account

This is a third, independent limit on top of both the daily and the overall loss. On a $100k Alpha Direct account, -$1 000 of floating loss on gold (1 %) is enough and the account is closed, even though the daily limit is $3 000 and the overall one $5 000. A trader holding a position overnight with a normal 1% stop can be thrown out before the price comes back. On $50k+ accounts the threshold is 2 %, i.e. $2 000 on $100k.

The rule was introduced on 21/07/2026 and lives in a separate help centre article plus Schedule 2 of the T&C. On the /product sales page it appears only as the line "Risk Per Asset | size-based" in the funded rules table, with no explanation that it is grounds for immediate closure of the account.

“The Max Risk Rule is designed to protect traders from excessive open drawdown exposure on any single asset. On a Qualified Analyst account, if your open drawdown on any given asset reaches the maximum risk threshold for your account size, this rule will be breached and you will receive a closure notification via email. … Please note that this rule is in addition to, and independent of, the Daily Drawdown and Maximum Drawdown rules already in place.”

AquaFunded (Aqua Funded)High impact·DrawdownA -2 % floating loss (-1 % on some models) permanently kills the funded account, and it is nowhere on the sales page

On Instant Funding, AquaMan and Pay After Pass, a single open position with a floating loss of 2% (only 1% on $300k/$400k accounts and on Pay After Pass) is enough for the account to be PERMANENTLY closed, even if the market turned a second later and the trade ended in profit. On a $400k account, that threshold is $4,000 of floating loss. | REVERIFICATION 1 Oct 2026: Instant Funding Standard accounts purchased from 8 Sep 2026 now have a -1% threshold with a three-step ladder (50% -> 25% -> breach) instead of immediate termination; on Pro, AquaMan, Pay After Pass and the new Instant Flex, immediate termination still applies.

Neither the /forex-funded-account sales page nor the public rules page /forex-rules mentions this rule at all (verified: 0 occurrences). It exists only as a standalone article in the Intercom help centre.

“If your floating PnL (profit and loss) drops below -2% of the account starting balance, the account will be permanently closed. … Consequences for Exceeding the -2% Risk Limit: - Immediate and permanent closure of the account.”

Blueberry FundedHigh impact·PayoutsThree trades in the news window void the ENTIRE payout and knock the funded account back to its starting balance

It is not just about removing the profit from the offending trades, the firm cancels the entire payout and resets the account to the starting balance, thus erasing all profit that had nothing to do with the news at all. Even the passive filling of a pending order or hitting a TP/SL inside the two-minute window is a violation.

The sales table on blueberryfunded.com states 'News Trading: Allowed (Subject to Policy)' for ALL products. The sanction is in a single help article.

“Voided Payouts: If 3 or more trades in a single payout request are considered high-impact news trading, the entire payout will be voided, and the earnings account will be reset to the starting balance.”

BrightFundedHigh impact·Drawdown1-Step: the 6% max drawdown trails on equity in REAL TIME, and the word 'trailing' is nowhere on the sales page

Floating profit moves the limit up permanently; when the trade turns around, the account breaches even though the balance never fell by 6 %. The firm itself publishes an example where a trader loses the account at a real loss of 3,5 %. On the /1-step and /comparison-table pages the words 'trailing' and 'high-water mark' do not occur, there is only 'Max. Total Loss 6%', which the trader reads as a static limit.

The drawdown type is stated only in the help centre article. The 1-Step sales page, the comparison table and the checkout all state only a percentage ('Max. Total Loss 6%') without distinguishing static from trailing. Control test: the strings 'trailing', 'static' and 'high-water' have zero occurrences on /1-step, /2-step-bright, /2-step-classic and /comparison-table.

“The trailing maximum drawdown updates in real time (high-water mark). Every time your equity reaches a new high during the trading day, the allowed minimum equity level is automatically recalculated from that new peak - not only at the end of the day.”
